Intel Core i5-L16G7
O Core i5-L16G7 é um SoC com 5 núcleos processadores baseados na arquitectura Lakefield. Utiliza um núcleo Sunny Cove rápido (conhecido das CPUs Ice-Lake mas sem AVX512) com até 3 GHz e 4 pequenos núcleos Tremont (Atom / Celeron) com até 2,8 GHz. Utilizando todos os 5 núcleos, o CPU pode atingir até 1,8 GHz, a velocidade do relógio de base é de 1,4 GHz. O CPU não suporta HyperThreading / SMT. O resto do SoC é semelhante aos chips Ice Lake, como a placa gráfica Gen 11 com 64 EUs (semelhante à Iris Plus G7 mas apenas com relógio a 500 MHz e usando o nome UHD Graphics).
De acordo com a Intel, o L16G7 deveria ser cerca de 24% mais rápido em aplicações multi-rosca e 12% mais rápido em aplicações de rosca única em comparação com o antigo Core i7-8500Y (Amber Lake-Y, 2 núcleos, 1,5 - 4,2 GHz). Isto significa que deve ser ligeiramente mais lento do que o Core i3-8130U.
Com um TDP especificado de 7 Watt (PL1, 9,5 Watt PL2), o CPU é bem adequado para computadores portáteis finos e leves e tablets baseados em Windows. / 2 em 1. A Intel afirma que o poder de espera foi muito reduzido (91% melhor em comparação com o i7-8500Y com 2,5 mW). O SoC é fabricado em 10nm e utiliza a tecnologia de embalagem 3D da Intel Foveros. O Foveros é utilizado para empilhar o molde de E/S fabricado em 22FFL, o molde de computação em 10nm e até 8 GB LPDDR4X-4267.
