Intel Celeron N4505
O Intel Celeron N4505 é um SoC dual-core da série Jasper Lake destinado principalmente a desktops baratos e pequenos e foi anunciado no início de 2021. Os dois núcleos da CPU Tremont têm clock entre 2 e 2,9 GHz (Burst de núcleo único) e não oferecem HyperThreading (SMT). O N4505 usa 1,5 MB de cache L2 e 4 MB de cache L3. O chip é construído com o processo de 10 nm de primeira geração da Intel, assim como os processadores da família Ice Lake.
Arquitetura da CPU
A arquitetura do processador é chamada de Tremont e é uma reformulação completa em comparação com os antigos núcleos Golmont Plus do antecessor. De acordo com a Intel, o desempenho de um único thread de um núcleo pode ser melhorado em 30%, em média (10 a 80% em todos os testes do SPECint e SPECfp).
Recursos
Além do bloco de CPU dual-core, o SoC integra uma GPU Intel UHD Graphics de 16 UE com clock de 450 a 750 MHz e um controlador de memória de canal duplo LPDDR4(x) (até 16 GB e 2933 MHz). O chip agora também integra parcialmente o Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+), 8 pistas PCIe 3.0, 14 portas USB 2.0/ 3.2 e duas portas SATA 6.0. O pacote ficou maior e mede 35 x 24 mm (em comparação com 25 x 24 mm para o N5030, por exemplo). O SoC é soldado diretamente à placa-mãe (BGA) e não pode ser facilmente substituído.
Desempenho
O N4505 médio em nosso banco de dados é tão rápido quanto o dual-core da AMD Athlon Silver 3050e e a geração anterior do Celeron N4100 da Intel, no que diz respeito às pontuações de benchmark multi-thread. Em outras palavras, o Celeron é bom para as atividades básicas do dia a dia, mas não muito mais do que isso, a partir de meados de 2022.
Consumo de energia
Esse SoC da série Celeron tem um TDP padrão, também conhecido como limite de energia de longo prazo, de 10 W, que é baixo o suficiente para permitir projetos com resfriamento passivo.
O N4505 é fabricado no processo Intel de 10 nm de primeira ou segunda geração (não há dados exatos disponíveis), o que proporciona uma eficiência energética média, a partir do final de 2022.
