AMD R5 3450U

O AMD Ryzen 5 3450U é um SoC móvel que foi anunciado no segundo trimestre de 2020 como um refresh. Ele combina quatro núcleos Zen+ (8 fios) com relógio de 2,1 GHz a 3,5 GHz (-200 MHz versus 3500U) com um Radeon RX Vega 8 iGPU com 8 CUs (512 Shaders) com relógio de até 1200 MHz. Especificado a 15 Watt TDP, o SoC é destinado a laptops finos de médio alcance. 

O SoC Picasso usa a microarquitetura Zen+ com ligeiras melhorias que devem levar a uma melhoria de 3% de IPS (desempenho por relógio). Além disso, o processo de 12 nm permite relógios mais altos com consumo de energia semelhante.

O controlador de memória integrado de dois canais suporta até a memória DDR4-2400. Como as características dos APUs Picasso são as mesmas em comparação com os predecessores do Raven Ridge, apontamos para nosso artigo de lançamento do Raven Ridge.

O desempenho do Ryzen 5 3450U está ligeiramente atrás do Ryzen 3500U na mesma configuração do TDP devido ao relógio de impulso mais lento (-200 MHz).

O SoC é fabricado no processo de 12LP na GlobalFoundries.
