AMD R5 3580U

O AMD Ryzen 5 3580U (Microsoft Surface Edition) é um SoC móvel que foi anunciado em Outubro de 2019 como parte do Surface Book 15. Combina quatro núcleos Zen+ (8 fios) com relógio a 2,2 - 3,8 GHz com uma placa gráfica Radeon RX Vega 9 com 9 CUs (576 Shaders) com relógio a até 1300 MHz. Especificado a 15 Watt TDP, o SoC é destinado a computadores portáteis de gama média fina. Em comparação com o semelhante Ryzen 5 3500U, o 3580 integra uma GPU mais rápida com 9 em vez de 8 CUs.

Os SoCs Picasso utilizam a microarquitectura Zen+ com ligeiras melhorias que deverão levar a uma melhoria de 3% de IPS (performance por relógio). Além disso, o processo de 12nm permite taxas de relógio mais elevadas com consumos de energia semelhantes.

O controlador de memória integrado de duplo canal suporta até memória DDR4-2400. Como as características das APUs Picasso são as mesmas em comparação com as antecessoras do Raven Ridge, apontamos para o nosso artigo de lançamento do Raven Ridge.

Como a especificação do CPU Ryzen 5 3580U é idêntica à do Ryzen 5 3500U, o desempenho do processador deve ser semelhante. A AMD afirma que as APUs Picasso são cerca de 8% mais rápidas do que as antecessoras. Portanto, o Ryzen 5 3500U e o 3580U devem estar à frente do Ryzen 5 2500U (2 - 3,6 GHz) e quase ao nível do Ryzen 7 2700U (2,2 - 3,8 GHz).
