AMD Ryzen 7 5825U
O AMD Ryzen 7 5825U é um processador para computadores portáteis finos e leves baseado na geração Cezanne. Faz parte da actualização "Barcelo" no início de 2022 e oferece núcleos de CPU com relógio 100 MHz mais altos em comparação com o antigo Ryzen 7 5800U. O R7 5825U integra todos os oito núcleos baseados na microarquitectura Zen 3 e é o processador mais rápido da série U no lançamento. São cronometrados a 2 (relógio base garantido) a 4,5 GHz (Turbo) e suportam SMT / Hyperthreading (16 roscas). O chip é fabricado com o moderno processo TSMC de 7 nm.
A nova microarquitectura Zen 3 oferece um IPC (instruções por relógio) significativamente mais elevado em comparação com o Zen 2. Para os processadores de secretária, a AMD afirma 19% em média e nas revisões de aplicações mostrou cerca de 12% de ganhos à mesma velocidade do relógio.
O desempenho do CPU deve situar-se entre o antigo Ryzen 7 5800U e o novo Ryzen 7 6800U (Zen+, 6nm, 4,7 GHz).
Para além dos oito núcleos de CPU, a APU também integra uma GPU Radeon RX Vega 8 com 8 CUs a até 2000 MHz. O controlador de memória de duplo canal suporta DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 RAM energeticamente eficiente. Além disso, 16 MB de cache de nível 3 (a partir de 8 MB na 4800U) podem ser encontrados no chip.
O TDP da APU é especificado a 15 Watt (por defeito) e pode ser configurado de 10 a 25 Watt pelo fornecedor do portátil (a maioria dos chips são configurados com mais de 15 Watt). Isto significa que o chip se destina a computadores portáteis finos e leves (mas com ventoinhas).
