AMD R7 4800HS

O AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS é um SoC móvel para grandes computadores portáteis baseado na arquitectura Renoir. O 4800HS integra todos os oito núcleos baseados na microarquitectura Zen 2. São cronometrados a 2,9 (relógio base garantido) a 4,2 GHz (Turbo) e suportam SMT / Hyperthreading (16 fios). O chip é fabricado no moderno processo de 7 nm na TSMC e em parte graças a ele a AMD anuncia um desempenho 2x melhorado por Watt para os chips Renoir. O 4800HS é a versão de 35 Watt (-10 Watt) do Renoir 7 4800H.

O Ryzen 7 4800HS deve oferecer um desempenho semelhante ao do Ryzen 7 4800H. De acordo com a AMD, o Ryzen 7 4800H é 5% mais rápido no teste de rosca única Cinebench R20 e 46% mais rápido no teste multithreaded em comparação com o Core i7-9750H (graças aos 2 núcleos adicionais). Isto traduz-se num desempenho entre um Intel Core i9-9880H e o modelo de topo i9-9980HK. Os antigos chips móveis Ryzen 3000 (por exemplo, Ryzen 7 3750H) são facilmente testados no desempenho do CPU graças aos 4 núcleos adicionais, microarquitectura Zen 2, e velocidades de relógio mais elevadas. Isto significa que o Ryzen 7 4800H deve ser capaz de lidar com todas as tarefas e jogos exigentes.

Além dos oito núcleos de CPU, a APU também integra uma placa gráfica integrada Radeon RX Vega 7 com 7 CUs e até 1600 MHz. O controlador de memória de duplo canal suporta DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 RAM energeticamente eficiente. Além disso, 8 MB de cache de nível 3 podem ser encontrados no chip.
