Qualcomm X2E-78-100

O Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-78-100 é a variante mais lenta dos SoCs para notebook X2 a serem lançados em setembro de 2025. Ele oferece 12 dos 18 núcleos de CPU divididos em 6 núcleos principais com até 4 GHz (4 GHz todos os núcleos) e 6 núcleos de desempenho com até 3,4 GHz. Em conjunto, a parte da CPU tem 34 MB de cache.

O SoC também integra uma GPU X2-85 mais fraca com 1,35 GHz, uma NPU com até 80 TOPS (INT8), controlador de memória LPDDR5x-9523 com 128 bits e 152 GB/s de largura de banda e o Spectra ISP para câmeras duplas de até 36 MP. A mídia de armazenamento pode ser conectada via NVMe, PCIe 5.0, UFS 4.0, SD Express e SD 3.0. O chip também suporta 3 portas USB 4.0.

O desempenho da CPU deve ficar bem atrás dos modelos mais potentes, como o Modelo superior X2E-96-100 (18 núcleos de até 5 GHz) ou o X2E-88-100 (18 núcleos de até 4,7 GHz). Estimamos que o desempenho será ligeiramente superior ao do antigo Snapdragon X Elite X1E-84-100 (também com 12 núcleos, até 4,2 GHz).

O SoC é produzido com uma mistura de N3X e N3P (via ComputerBase) na TSMC (3nm).
