Intel i7-9700

O Intel Core i7-9700 é um processador de secretária de topo de gama baseado na arquitectura Coffee Lake. Integra 8 núcleos (sem Hyperthreading, portanto também 8 fios) com relógio a 3 - 4,7 GHz. Comparado com o semelhante Core i7-9700K, o 9700 não tem um multiplicador aberto para fácil overclocking, oferece velocidades de relógio mais baixas e oferece um TDP reduzido.

Em comparação com o antigo Core i7-8700, o 9700 oferece mais dois núcleos reais, mas sem Hyperthreading. Portanto, o ganho de desempenho não é tão grande - dependendo da aplicação. O desempenho do núcleo único foi ligeiramente melhorado graças aos relógios Turbo mais altos. Sendo um CPU de secretária de topo de gama, o i7-9700 é bem adequado para tarefas e jogos exigentes.

A placa gráfica Intel UHD 630 integrada é relógio até 1,2 GHz e não oferece nenhuma vantagem em comparação com as gerações anteriores. Como é uma GPU de gama muito baixa, apenas alguns jogos de baixa exigência como Hearthstone podem ser jogados com ela (ver página da GPU para referências).

A Intel especifica o TDP a 65 Watt (em vez dos 95W dos modelos mais rápidos) e por isso a CPU não precisa de um sistema de arrefecimento de secretária topo de gama.
