AMD Radeon R9 M470

A AMD Radeon R9 M470 é uma placa de vídeo móvel convencional superior baseada no familiar chip Bonaire. Esta GPU de 28 nm utiliza 768 shaders (12 Unidade de Cômputo CU) e baseia-se na segunda geração da arquitetura GCN (Graphics Core Next). O tamanho máximo da memória é de 4 GB (GDDR5, 6000 MHz efetivos) e é conectada via uma interface de 128-bits. Comparada com a placa predecessora Radeon R9 M380 (1000 MHz) tecnologicamente igual, a R9 M470 poderia ter uma velocidade um pouco mais alta.

Contrário à série R9 M300, o número de produtos dentro da série R9 M400 atualmente está limitado a três (M485X, M470X e M470), mas isto provavelmente mudará com o lançamento na nova arquitetura Polaris no segundo trimestre de 2016.
