ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 é uma placa de video DirectX 10 da ATI e concorrente direto da placa de vídeo NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS para notebooks. Isto significaria que a placa é capaz de representar todos os jogos modernos em alta resoluções medias e sem Antialiasing sem interrupções de movimento.

Devido ao Avivo HD videoengine o chip acelera HD Video como HD DVD, Blu-ray (Decodificador para vídeo para H.264/AVC, VC-1, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4/Div X Video Codecs). Além disto, PowerPlay 7.0 oferece runtimes de bateria mais longos. Mais, além disso, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600  está certificado para Windows Vista (para a interfase Aero user).

Tecnicamente, o chip tem 120 processadores stream que são capazes de gerenciar operações vertex, geométricas ou pixelshader.  Pelo tanto DirectX 10.0 e Shader Model 4.0 são suportados.  Para fazer menção está também o 256 bit bit wide ringbus.

Die AMD Radeon HD 6870 ist eine Desktop Grafikkarte aus 2010. Sie basiert auf den Barts bzw RV940 Grafikprozessor und wurde in 40nm gefertigt. Sie bietet 224 5D Shader bei 900 MHz Taktrate (Referenz). Der GDDR5 Grafikspeicher wird über 256 Bit angebunden und läuft mit effektiven 2100 MHz. Verglichen mit Notebookgrafikkarten ist die 6870 mit der AMD Radeon HD 6990M verwandt, die ebenfalls 1120 Shader und einen 256 Bit Speicherbus bietet, jedoch mit 715 MHz Kern- und 1800 MHz Speichertakt geringer getaktet wird.
