Intel HD Graphics P630

A Intel HD Graphics P630 (GT2) é uma unidade gráfica integrada que pode ser encontrada em vários processadores para workstations Xeon da geração Kaby Lake. A versão "GT2" da GPU Skylake oferece 24 Unidades de Execução (EUs) com velocidade de até 1050 MHz (dependendo do modelo da CPU). Devido à falta de memória gráfica dedicada ou cache eDRAM, a P630 deve acessar a memória principal (2x 64bit DDR3L-1600 / DDR4-2133). Ela utiliza o mesmo silicon que a HD Graphics 630 nos processadores Kaby-Lake-H, mas oferece controladores otimizados para workstations e software CAD. De acordo com a Intel é certificada para 15 aplicativos (ver lista).

Desempenho

De acordo com a Intel, o desempenho da P630 é igual ao da placa de vídeo de processador, Intel HD Graphics P530 (predecessor Skylake) e 1,94x mais xelos que a antiga Intel HD Graphics P4000. Comparada com placas de consumo, o desempenho dos jogos deve estar em um nível similar ao de uma GeForce 920M  dedicada e lidará com jogos antigos (de 2015) com configurações baixas ou médias.

Características

O motor de vídeo revisado nos chips Kaby Lake agora suporta H.265/HEVC perfil Main10 com profundidade de cores de 10-bits e também o codec VP9 em hardware. Além disso, o HDCP 2.2 também é suportado em todos os chips, que permite vídeos da Netflix em 4K, por exemplo.

Consumo de Energia

A HD Graphics P630 pode ser encontrada em processadores móveis quad-core Xeon com TDP de 45 W e também processadores de desktop da gama Xeon com TDPs mais altos.
