Intel Arc 8-Cores iGPU
A Intel Arc iGPU com 8 núcleos (ID 7D55) é uma placa gráfica integrada em SoCs Meteor Lake com base na arquitetura Xe LPG (semelhante às GPUs Arc dedicadas, mas com foco na eficiência). Ela oferece todos os 8 núcleos Xe (128 mecanismos vetoriais Xe), 8 unidades de traçado de raio, 8 amostradores e 4 backends de pixel.
O nome Arc só pode ser usado se pelo menos 16 GB de RAM forem usados no modo de canal duplo. Caso contrário, a única iGPU é chamada de "Intel Graphics " e também é significativamente mais lenta.
De acordo com a Intel, o desempenho foi dobrado em comparação com a geração anterior (provavelmente ainda em Alder Lake).
A iGPU suporta DirectX 12 Ultimate (provavelmente DX 12_2 como as GPUs Arc para desktop). A unidade gráfica também suporta XeSS AI Super Sampling.
O mecanismo de mídia do Meteor Lake está no bloco SOC e suporta codificação e decodificação HDR de até 8k60 e 10 bits de MPEG2, AVC, VP9, HEVC e AV1. O mecanismo de exibição também está no bloco do SoC e é compatível com HDMI 2.1 e DisplayPort 2.1 20G com HDR de até 8K60.
O bloco de GPU do chip Meteor Lake é fabricado na TSMC em 5nm (processo 5N).
