NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800M

A NVIDIA Quadro FX 3800M é uma placa de vídeo de workstation móvel para portáteis de alta capacidade. Está baseada no núcleo da Geforce GTX 280M core (G92 core) e apresenta núcleos de 128 CUDA (shaders unificados).

Comparada com a Quadro FX 3700M, a Quadro FX 3800M apresenta freqüências mais altas e é fabricada em 55nm (3700M - 65nm). A FX3800M possui uma freqüência ainda mais alta que a GeForce GTX 280M e, portanto, se desempenha melhor.

A série Quadro FX de placas está otimizada para aplicativos profissionais, como CAD ou DCC. Especialmente o desempenho OpenGL deve ser mais notável que com placas GeForce de consumidor.

No momento do anúncio (12-2009), a FX 3800M era a placa de vídeo de workstation mais veloz para portáteis.
